Like many of us, our family has been significantly impacted by cancer. That is why Banner’s Home Away from Home campaign is so important to both of us.

The patient housing assistance endowment, which the Home Away from Home campaign funds, will help offset the typical costs associated with adequate local housing required by cancer patients undergoing long term cancer treatments. We know that before this fund was created, some patients slept in their cars or in unsanitary shelters or, even worse, declined to begin treatment!

A cancer diagnosis brings with it life-altering anxiety, and affording safe, sanitary housing should not add to that anxiety. So, please make a gift to the Home Away from Home campaign to provide housing for those in need allowing them to focus on defeating this terrible disease.
